We were in town for work, hungry for dinner, our original plan didn't work out with the baseball game and parking situations and we ended up at Docs. It was a Tuesday night, service was great, Edna was very attentive and made sure our drinks never ran dry. My coworkers food wasn't exactly what he ordered (all drummies for wings) and she made sure to correct his check before giving us our bill. It was also a bingo night, that was a fun experience. I'd definitely go again.
I have been coming to docs since the 90s, and it is still hands down the best place to end your night. I came for brunch on Saturday, and it did not disappoint. I had the pork chop and eggs straight off the menu. The pork chop was one of the best I have had at a restaurant in years. Grilled to perfection along with really great white gravy with my hash browns. Thanks to the bartenders and kitchen staff for keeping me coming back for 20 years.
I've been going here about 3 or 4 years strong! They have THE BEST drinks in Atlanta and that's not debatable! Monday nights are THE BEST, karaoke night!! My food is always good so no complaints there and if it isn't it's been fixed! Some of y'all lying in these reviews cause I done left my card about 3 times and NEVER been overcharged. I go up to the bar and my drink is sometimes made before I even ask honey, THAT'S SERVICE! Now as far as the waiters some of them lil girls rude for real, you just gotta get the right one.. look for the older ones. Yes smoking is allowed but they have a patio that's awesome in the summer, spring and fall!
This place has such a cute set up! The service can be kinda slow. Everyone is super nice though. The security can get kinda lax though, and I feel like some people should have been kicked out but were given too many chances causing scenes. Other than that though, I liked it here! Super affordable and so cute
